Forty percent of this 20 square mile township is protected open space. The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and Historic Jockey Hollow Park have wonderful recreational facilities. The rural atmosphere is further enhanced by a 3 acre per home minimum acreage in most of the town.

There is a small commercial and retail area along Mt. Kemble Avenue (Rt. 202) where you will find a few shops, and small businesses. Fine French dining at Pierre's or an informal family restaurant with great pies and ice cream at the Minute Man are local favorites. Opportunities to get involved in the community are numerous and there is a wonderful sense of community in this town. It is a rare find.
